Convoluted ETFE Tubing
Flexible Convoluted ETFE Tubing made from a clear ETFE hose that is manufactured to meet AMS-T-81914/6 ( Standard Flex ) and AMS-T-81914/5 ( Extra Flex ) specifications. ETFE convoluted tubing is a Fluoropolymer engineered from Ethylenetetrafluoroethylene resins and is used for conduits in high impact applications. ETFE tubing has excellent abrasion resistance and is less susceptible to stress cracking.
Flexible ETFE convoluted tubing has a higher tinsel strength, greater crush resistance and higher pressure rating then other Fluoropolymers. ETFE tubing can also be GAMMA, ETO and e-beam sterilizable.

ETFE is a very lubricious Fluoroplastic with one of the lowest coefficient of frictions almost matching that of PTFE Tubing. Because of its slippery surface or dry lubrication there is no need for additional chemical lubricants.
