Heat Shrinkable Polyolefin End Caps

Polyolefin Heat Shrinkable End Caps are engineered to seal electrical wiring and cable ends while providing mechanical and environmental protection. Shrinkable End Caps are an easy way to provide a permanent, flexible and water-resistant barrier, sealing cable ends and provide reliable protection. When heated above 250°F (121°C) the end caps begins to shrink and forces the adhesive liner to melt and flow, encapsulating the subsurface. When cooled this adhesive forms a flexible bond with a wide variety of rubbers, plastics and metals.

Heat Shrinkable Polyolefin End Caps are an excellent way to stop the fraying of nylon ropes such as dock lines and terminating the ends of braided sleeving.

Polyolefin End Caps can be supplied with release valves for sealing pressurized cables. These valves allow for the release of air and gasses that accumulate during storage due to temperature fluctuations and climate changes.
