Flexible Kynar Tubing (PVDF)
Flexible Kynar Tubing or Flexible PVDF ( polyvinylidene fluoride ) is a co-polymer material constructed with FDA compliant resins that meet and exceed USP Class VI , NSF 51, NSF 61, and NSF 14 requirements. PVDF Flex or Kynar tubing is ideal for use in high-purity water systems, laboratory , beverage & food applications.
PVDF resins provide chemical resistance to most acids and bases, but are not completely chemically inert like Teflon Fluoropolymers. KYNAR tubing is abrasion resistance, flame retardent, impact resistant, thermal stability and ease of processing. PVDF Tubing is an economical alternative to higher cost Fluoropolymer resins such as PTFE, PFA, and FEP.
